Lord's: England v India, day 5
Despite long queues to get in, I was able to secure a seat for what was anticipated to be a fine day of Test cricket, and indeed proved to be so, England taking 9 wickets to beat India by 196 runs. On TMS today, Patrick Eagar (http://www.patrickeagar.com/) was interviewed on his retirement, as this test, the 2000th in Test history and the 100th test between England and India, would be his last as a photographer. If this leaves a vacancy amongst the ranks of photographers, it occurs to me it wouldn't be a bad job at all, travelling the world taking photographs of cricket!
